Christmas is the best time of the year for wholesalers to make as much revenue as they can. Businesses dealing in specialized Christmas items are looking forward to taking a lead this year from other competitors by adopting fresh marketing ideas. Though mostly wholesalers dealing in Christmas items sell products without special Christmas tags throughout the year, yet there are many wholesalers, who only become active few months before Christmas. This is because they want to keep their businesses seasonal.

Such wholesalers have to create and employ fresh marketing strategies every year to make people familiar with their new products and services again. Mostly Christmas wholesalers organize sales that last for just few days. I would say, run your Christmas sales for more than a month at least. Customers mostly take time to get familiar with the sale items and to drive to your outlet for purchase. In this way, if the time span of your sales is more, the chances of sales increase. This is because one customer takes times to refer sales to others and in this way, customer marketing takes time to kick in. Try to organize sales early than others because early bird always catches the worm.

Give discounts along with credits

Always try to offer good discounts or free gifts to the customers because cheap products always remain the priority of the customers. Moreover, you should also offer some free gift on the purchase of items beyond a certain price. However, these tactics would be used by every other Christmas wholesaler. I would recommend you to offer products on credits along with the discounts. This will attract even those customers who have no cash to pay on immediate basis.

Create special product packs

Create special Christmas product bundles and offer discounts on them because customers perceive their value greater than the sum of its part. Moreover, in this way, you can also sell those items, which customers do not prefer to buy and they remain in your stock until next Christmas arrives. These bundle packs give you an opportunity to do some extra work on the packing and make it attractive for the customers. Putting discounts tags on such bundles always works!
