Zawngtra Deng (Parkia speciosa chutney): Hmar traditional dish

It has been a while since I made my last post. Today, I’ll share with you the the secret of one of the smelliest, yet tasty tribal dish. That dish is called Zawngtra/Zongta Deng (Zawngtra Chutney). The Parkia speciosa as you already know is found in Asia and it is one of the staple diet of the tribals despite its foul odour. The dish I’m going to show you in my YouTube channel is the one that is prepared by the Hmar tribes of Northeast India. It is called Zawngtra/Zongta Deng (Zawngtra Chutney).
