8 Reasons Why You SHOULDN’T Go to the Gym

Going to gym? Think again!

It seems like everyone is getting on this craze to go and exercise. My mom for one, has decided to bike around 30 miles a day. To me, it seems a little crazy. What about the good old exercising? Like the kind that you walked to get your favorite ice cream at the grocery store. I don’t know about you, but that works up a major sweat for me. If you are like me, you might need some motivation so that you don’t workout. Here are some great reasons that you shouldn’t exercise.

1. It takes up a lot of your time. Exercising is an investment. It takes forever to get ready to go to the gym, get there, get on a machine, workout, and finally head home. Think of all of the thinks that you could be doing instead of exercising. You could be reading, running errands, maybe even watching Hulu.

2. Exercising makes you hungry. When I exercise, I get really hungry. Since I went to the gym, doesn’t that let me eat more? I usually end up eating a lot more than I would if I didn’t go exercise. This essentially cancels out the fact that I went to the gym.

3. You might go down a size. Sure, that might be great and dandy, but do you have the money to go out and get a new wardrobe? Most of us don’t have the extra cash just laying around. And if you do, how about you share the wealth?

4. You will be sore. When you start lifting weights, or exercising, you will probably feel pretty sore. That feeling is one of the worst. You won’t want to move anywhere, and you will definitely will not want to go to the gym and subject yourself to that torture again.

5. You will smell. Ugh. Who wants to smell bad anyways? It’s much easier to just shower when you need to. Why speed up the process with working out?

6. You might pull a muscle. Exercising can be very dangerous. You might pull a muscle, you might insure your knee, the injuries are limitless. Save yourself from the danger and don’t go to the gym at all!

7. You will sweat. People are all about meeting others at the gym. I frankly don’t want to be approached by some sweaty man or woman that I’ve never met before. Can you say awkward?

8. You might lose your muffin top. Your boyfriend is probably always telling you how much he loves your muffin top. Why would you want to rob him of his joy?

These are 8 reasons why you shouldn’t hit the gym, but do better things with your time.
