Nakeeran, the little known Indian magazine that became a hit during popular south Indian actor Raj Kumar’s kidnapping episode, has become a news item again after it published an article that suggests AIADMK supremo and Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalitha had beef on her plates.

As expected, angry AIADMK workers on January 7 morning attacked the Tamil weekly magazine office. However, no one was injured in the incident. The activist said the article was aimed at degrading the image of their idol and leader Jayalalitha.
This kind of incidents is quite common in India as the politicians and even actors have huge followers who will do anything to get a pat from these VIPPs.
I’m still at a lost over this recent controversy. Some reliable sources were also quoted by the magazine to show the “real truth” of the AIADMK’s chief food habits. Jayalalitha, like many Hindu brahmins is believed by her partymen to be a strict vegetarian.
So, what is your opinion? Should there be a hue and cry over such reports.

I’m sure there is some truth in the report. Nakeeran is a responsible paper.
I’m sure she does take non-veggie food.
why not beef?
Jayalalitha can even eat humans… she is that kind of a dictator…
This was the same daily that quoted that DMK would win the 2011 elections winning 200 seats.
What Jayalalitha eats is none of your business!Eat your food and pay your taxes……idiots…….
