Chinese mothers superior to American moms?

I can’t really decide on which methods of parenting mothers should adopt even after reading “Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother” by Amy Chua -The Asian Tiger mother’s way or the Western Mom’s methods. Maybe you can share some of your views on the subject after watching these videos.
